QUESTIONS about Fiji Travel?

This is for my cousin's project--> I'm in Miami, FL (USA) And I'm wondering what's the average cost of flight to Fiji? (You can tell me if you were to depart from Miami NYC or LA whatever you know) How long of a flight is it? What are do things cost there? Like a cup of coffee, a hamburger, nice dinner? In Fiji Dollars or USD, it doesn't matter... I need any information that would help! Thanks!

The longest flight to Fiji is 5,521 miles. 4 airlines operate between Miami, FL and Nadi, FJ The average price is around US$ 1144 The flight will be around 14-15 hours Things are relative cheap there when converting currency. A cup of coffee will be around 70c - 1 US dollar for a basic cup, 2 or so for a cafe coffee. A nice dinner will set you back F$50, so 21-30 US But I would not advise travelling there at the moment. It is run by a military dictatorship that is at loggerheads with the Australian and NZ governments who have put travel sanctions on the regime and Fiji is threatening to expel NZ's top diplomat there, the high commissioner over it.
