Why do Australians and others dislike Fiji because of the government?

Many have and continue to visit the USA in spite of the policies of President George Bush. But I guess no matter how screwed up you are, as long as it is labeled as a democracy, or is it because Fiji is a nation run by predominantly by black people, unlike Australia which is exclusively white? Democracy or hypocrisy? Something is wrong with this picture.

  1. There's Aborignie people in Australia, and there black!
  2. Australians and hypocrisy go together like hat and glove. When searching for excuses to 'hate' the English, they use the Empire's treatment of the colonials whilst simply refusing to acknowledge their own treatment of Aborigines. They love to refer to Australia as multi-cultural, but ask a non-white visitor how they were received, and more often than not the answer will not be positive. They are 100% convinced they are the most wonderful people with the most wonderful country on Earth because that's what they tell themselves on a daily basis. If someone disagrees with them, however, just watch how nasty they can become. My guess is that is the reason for their antipathy towards Fiji.
