what are good things to do / places to visit in fiji ?

I'm about to go to fiji for 2 weeks with my girfriend and am intersted in which islands to visit ? stuff to do ? places to drink Kava Kava ? / NightClubs etc ??

1. Go to the market and buy kava (often marked waka - root). Bukuya village has trips for tourists and is not far from Nadi but very beautiful countryside. Kava is perfect gift and you will be invited to drink. Go to West Point Arcade in Nadi and book a trip with Peni Tours. There are cafes that serve kava. Just look for the dirty water in a bowl. It tastes a little peppery and makes your mouth numb if you drink a lot. A great island to visit is Caqalai (Thungalai). Have to travel from Suva via Ovalau. http://www.owlfiji.com/caqalai.htm You will find loads of info in Fiji tho and it's easy to travel and make arrangements once there. You can go to places much nearer to Nadi if you wish and you can hardly fail to have a good time. Enjoy!
