Can someone find me flights to fiji.?

I am looking to visit fiji within the next year or two. I will be staying about 2 weeks. I saw the flights were about 5 thousand dollars round trip and that's nuts! Can someone find me cheaper flights, or alternative way to travel for A LOT cheaper please? Thank you!!!!!!!! Seattle, WA

1. where are you flying from in the first place? it's cheaper if you fly from Australia or New Zealand where they have direct flights. I've checked on Zuji website. They've got tickets ranging from SGD1700 to SGD3000, without taxes. but usually the validity is not for 2 years, mostly max 12months. ticket prices are for round trip. It should work out to about USD1100 ot USD2000. within your budget? you might wanna take a look yourself.
2. I was able to find r/t fares for just under $1500 on Air New Zealand, US Airways, United, and Air Pacific. You must be searching during peak times or on peak travel days. If your plans are flexible I'm sure you can find something in this price range as well. If not, there are operators who use charters or buy bulk seats on scheduled flights and then re-sell through travel agents.
3. I recommend Air Pacific of Air New Zealand, both of them are really good flying to Fiji (I have flown both from Auckland NZ). Friendly staff and good flight, although I am assuming Air Pacific will most likely be less expensive than Air NZ. If you do book with Air NZ make sure you do fly on the flight they operate and not the one they codeshare with Air Pacific (operated by the latter) as it might end up hiking the price a bit.
