Discount Fiji Vacations

I'm travelling to Fiji Islands, know any good places to visit?

I will mostly be staying on the main island Viti Levu in the month of June. Know any good beaches or places I should visit or things I should do? What should I be careful of or avoid? And any kind of information or advise you can give is appreciated.

  1. check this site guy for all information about FIJI http://www.bulafiji.com/bulame/thingstodo.html
  2. A really great source for information about Fiji is in the TripAdvisor.com Forums - You can search prior questions to see answers or post your own questions. I would not recommend you stay on Viti Levu - you won't get the real Fiji experience. The best beaches are on the smaller islands. You can take boats (like the Yasawa flyer) to the Yasawa Islands and do some island hopping. There are more than 300 islands in Fiji. When on the smaller islands, snorkeling/diving is great. Fiji is great for relaxing, and getting back to nature, but is not known for shopping or a club scene. Be sure to take lots of mosquito repellent and sunscreen plus drugs (aspirin, cough drops, etc.) you might need if you get sick as things like that are not easily acquired in Fiji, especially on the small islands. You can also take granola bars, nuts, crackers, etc. into Fiji. You'll have to declare them but you'll be able to take them in. You can't take meats, fruits, vegetables, raw seeds, etc. Enjoy your trip. The Fijians are very nice, friendly people and we've never had any trouble on our 5 trips to Fiji so far.
