How do you get the best value accommodation in Fiji? I'm going to Fiji in June and I heard from a friend that if you leave accommodation until you arrive in Nadi then you can get walk-in bookings in decent bures on the outer islands for much cheaper prices! Is this worth the risk or am I best off booking as soon as possible? All I want is a peaceful beach!
Where is a good/cheap place to book accommodation in Fiji in July? I don't need flights.? Prefer an island or beach, not a city. Can't be too expensive!

Would you recommend a hotel in Fiji on Viti Levu or Mamanuka Islands? Have you been to Fiji? Did you have a good experience? Is there a hotel or private accommodation that you would recommend to a couple with a 6-month-old baby? We would be fine staying in a clean 3-star hotel and both love taking photos of various places. We have a stop-over on Viti Levu on November 1st for 2 weeks on our way back to Canada. Thank you.
I'm going to travel to Fiji (Suva) can anyone give me some hints of traveling? Hi everyone, If someone has a clue about the expenses in Fiji (Suva) that I should face in a week of stay please give me a rough idea about the transportation costs, intercity, and also the food and accommodation. I am looking for the cheapest options and so far I found hostels for $19 a night but have no clue about transport and food and possibly other things that I have not taken into account. Thanks .
How much money should we take on our Holiday to Fiji? We've got accommodation covered - food not included. We'll be there for 8 nights, staying at the Outrigger Resort on the Coral Coast. We need to pay for meals, souvenirs (you know, magnets and stubby holders, etc) and we might do a tiny bit of shopping for clothes. Oh also tours - snorkelling, island hopping, etc.. I'm pregnant so we wont be doing anything too crazy!! How much cash do you think we need in Aussie dollars? Thanks!!

What is the best Fiji resort for me? Since it's our honeymoon it's important for us to have good value accommodation, great food (incl. lobster), somewhere that offers romantic dinners or picnics and an outstanding pool and beach (clear safe water). Preferably not as busy or with too many kids. Please help.
What to see and do in Fiji? Was invited by some friends to go to Fiji this summer. Probably mid April. Is it worth it? What could we do in and around the island? what about accommodation and tourist attractions?

Would this be an example of accommodation or assimilation. I think it is assimilation.? If you were to see a man from the nation of Fiji, but had never seen one before, you would be able to recognzie him as a human being.

Round the world travel? Would you have tips, advice, recommendation of places to visit and hostels (looking for clean, safe, good location) in Sydney, New Zealand and Fiji? In New Zealand I have heard of the magic bus. What is the best accommodation? And what about Fiji? What travel agency have you booked your flight with and what about travel insurance and budget? How did you manage your finances?

Should we cancel our Thailand/Phuket trip? My boyfriend and I have booked a 8 day trip to Phuket and 2 nights in Bangkok in February of next year; with all the terrorist threats around popular tourist destinations in Thailand we are becoming a bit anxious and are considering cancelling our trip because we won't enjoy it when we are a bit fearful for our safety. I'm just wondering what our other options would be; like beautiful beach getaways. We are losing $550 that we have deposited and our prior booking was aimed at about $5500 all together including flights, insurances, accommodation including food, tours and transfers. So so sad on missing out on the Phi Phi Island beauty. Is there anywhere else that anyone could recommend within the same price limit and similar beautiful lifestyle; e.g. Fiji, Samoa or elsewhere ??

Home schooling, college? What are my chances with a record like this? I applied to Florida State University as my first choice, and as I get closer to finding out if I got in, I'm getting more and more nervous. Do you think I had a chance? My grades for high school were all A's. I have 4 credits of math (up to pre-cal), 4.5 of English, 5 of social science, 5 of natural science (with labs), and 2 of French. FSU requires that home schoolers submit a syllabus for each course studied in high school to explain course content and list materials used, and we made these very detailed. reading this plss help me 2 write a conclusion and summary on Tourism...................? Tourism is travel for predominantly recreational or leisure purposes or the provision of services to support this leisure travel. The World Tourism Organization defines tourists as people who "travel to and stay in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes not related to the exercise of an activity remunerated from within the place visited". Tourism has become a popular global leisure activity. In 2006, there were over 846 million international tourist arrivals. Tourism is vital for many countries such as Egypt, Thailand and many island nations such as Fiji, due to the large intake of money for businesses with their goods and services and the opportunity for employment in the service industries associated with tourism. These service industries include transportation services such as cruise ships and taxis, accommodation such as hotels and entertainment venues, and other hospitality industry services such as resorts.

FSU encourages homeschoolers to submit, along with the syllabuses and transcript, anything that the homeschool representative believes will give FSU a better idea of the student's academic ability, so we'll be sending my updated resume along with my yearly homeschool evaluations and my unofficial transcript from the college (they'll of course get the official one later on). I'm also going to send along some of my best essays and other work samples, and I have a few people who said they would send letters of reference for me. Can you think of anything else I can do? Do you think I have any chance of getting in? Be honest.
Can someone who was home schooled get into college? with a record like this? I applied to Florida State University as my first choice, and as I get closer to finding out if I got in, I'm getting more and more nervous. Do you think I had a chance? My grades for high school were all A's. I have 4 credits of math (up to pre-cal), 4.5 of English, 5 of social science, 5 of natural science (with labs), and 2 of French. I also studied a number of electives such as home ec/life skills, music theory, health, programming and robotics, digital design, art, and sign language. FSU requires that home schoolers submit a syllabus for each course studied in high school to explain course content and list materials used, and we made these very detailed. On top of that, I'll be graduating high school with at least 18 college credits behind me already (CHM2025, CHM2025L, HUM2930, PSY2012, SYG1000, ARH1051, and one more that hasn't been chosen yet). So far after my first semester I have all A's at the college I'm duel enrolled in. I scored a 1930 on the SAT. 680 in reading, 730 in writing, and 520 in Math. My math score isn't great, but there were circumstances surrounding that. the College Board didn't provide the appropriate accommodations on my test (I'm legally blind) and I couldn't see the numbers and figures on the math portion of the test. I am planning on retaking it with the proper accommodations, but I wont be able to before the final application deadline. My resume is as follows.
